Ideal Setup in Seconds
HyperGear can automatically change its own torch,lens, nozzleand beam mode,7 so you’ll always use the ideal setup for every cutting application. And, it takes only seconds.
Manually, it might take 10 minutes to change a torch. But, is the operator always available at the right time? Or does your profit-generating machine sit idle even longer for a setup change? Multiply that time by annual frequency and you’ll get a number of lost hours you’d rather not look at. Hours that can be reclaimed with HyperGear.
With HyperGear you can even use a special torch just for piercing. HyperGear can also find the focal point5 and self-center the nozzle.So say “sayonara” to blue flame focusing and nozzle centering tape tests.
Keeps an Eye
on Production
Beyond running unattended, HyperGear can actually diagnose and fix cutting glitches.A camera enables the system to spot cutting problems and to automatically make self adjustments, such as replacing a dirty lens or nozzle. The system can even recondition nozzle tips to save cost.
Plus, its constant beam length6 and automatic beam mode adjustmentsprovide consistent cutting everywhere on the table.
Simplifies Maintenance
First, HyperGear’s own air compressor and enhanced filtration systemprevent dirty, wet, oily shop air from catastrophic deterioration of the machine. All filters have sensors to notify the operator in advance of needed maintenance. So HyperGear always operates with shop air that has the highest purity possible.
In addition, sensors throughout the system, including the internal and external beam delivery systems, alert you before maintenance is due. You can schedule labor and order parts in advance. A digital maintenance manual—right in the machine control—provides part numbers and specific maintenance instructions. To help you prevent expensive downtime and limit damage, the machine can shut itself down if the needed upkeep isn’t performed.
FMS Compatible
Operating this machine in an FMS or other automated material handling system requires no compromises. HyperGear will always use the ideal setup for every job,13 and inconsistencies will not shut down production. You’ll generate maximum profits 24/7.
